Great comparisons, sucks we are dry in new tv tech but those $1000 ones seem the best deal for gamers avoiding burnin

  2. skins4thewin on July 22, 2021 at 9:08 pm

Honestly, I could not POSSIBLY disagree more with your take on size vs quality. OLED is now cheaper than it’s ever been, and LG is producing some of the best OLED’s for what is a fantastic price in their CX line for just $1,300 for the 55" model, and the picture quality is so much better than anything you’ve experienced with a non OLED that you will be ECSTATIC that you went with the smaller size once you experience that OLED upgrade.

I’d say it’s even MORE worth it if you HAVEN’T owned an OLED, because then you’ll be spoiled by just how much better it is than a non OLED. You also save a TON of money going with a smaller OLED as with the larger ones the price skyrockets, so I truly don’t know how you can suggest such an odd thing to go with the larger model when it comes to OLED when they are so damned expensive.

What about the Vizio P series?

  5. Dennis Reekers on July 22, 2021 at 9:15 pm

HI when is tcl releasing the 8k 6 series this year? is it worth the wait? Thank you! Greetings Dennis

  6. littlejoe on July 22, 2021 at 9:15 pm

Nice videos. What would u recommend in a Budget 85" tv? Mostly for watching movies

  7. Kenny Jurgens on July 22, 2021 at 9:17 pm

What about the VIZIO P-SERIES QUANTOM AND QUANTOM X?

  8. Tom Dehnert on July 22, 2021 at 9:19 pm

When will get the lgmini led tv

  9. Matthew Langley on July 22, 2021 at 9:21 pm

What about 85" LCD/LED for a big room that will be a mix of bright at times and dark at times with a big sectional etc (big great room) vs say 77" OLED, 65" OLED etc? I mean the C1 83" OLED is going to be $6k but you can get a 900H 75" for about $2k. Is that 83" OLED worth three times the cost even if say about 50%-70% of the time there will be moderate ambient light?

  10. DerZuschauer on July 22, 2021 at 9:21 pm

Picked up an new 75inch Q95T for 1450€. Should be okay for the price.

  11. Wilbur Lim on July 22, 2021 at 9:21 pm

After watching this and supposedly wanted to buy oled, now it’s hard to choose between a 75”X900H and 65” CX. Even though i haven’t used oled before, seeing it in the store makes you drool over it 😭

  12. TheWidowMaker40 on July 22, 2021 at 9:22 pm

Great video, okay so some of those tv’s aren’t available in the UK, The question i’ve been pondering is do i go for the newer 55" LG C1 or the LG CX 65" both around £1800 in the UK, so it looks like the LG 65" CX for men then.

  13. Mark Mckee on July 22, 2021 at 9:22 pm

There was another price drop on X950 today. Was happy with 65” purchased at $1999 CAD but now is $1799. Based on your reviews and advice felt at 1999 cad it was a good deal but might be going sub 1500 in the USA

  14. Muhammad Habib Zaman on July 22, 2021 at 9:23 pm

What about 75 inch LED TV Vs 55 INCH QLED

  15. Neil Budde on July 22, 2021 at 9:23 pm

Thank you FOMO!! Love this channel. In the 75" vs 65" debate – which I totally agree with you on the larger LED vs. smaller OLED, what about comparing within the LED world. For example – 65" Hisense H9G vs. 75" H8G or 65" TCL R635 vs. 75" R535? Does the same hold true? Thanks in advance for your input, and welcome any other suggestions as well!

  16. CHKN adobo on July 22, 2021 at 9:23 pm

Thank you soo much for you honest opinion. I almost bought the Sony X90J, but after watching your video, I’m thinking of waiting till it goes on sale sometimes this year 🙂

  17. Antwan L Williams on July 22, 2021 at 9:25 pm

One of the best TV breakdowns I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. Thank you for your hard work and understanding what people want to know. I got the 65’ H1 last year on sale for $1600 and thought that it was the best deal of the season! I have not had any issues with my unit and seem to be one of the lucky ones that received a good panel. Will one of the “Budget Brands” surprise us again this year and offer an OLED to make this list?

  18. Nuno Alexandre on July 22, 2021 at 9:25 pm

I have been enjoying all your reviews! I’m about to buy a 85" TV and thanks to you I’m able to decide what to buy in this huge maze of TVs in the market. Why is this so complicated 😂! Thank you! There’s one thing that still gives me a big FOMO though! There’s no reviews on the Sony X91J! Is the price $3k right?! How does it compare with X90j and x900h? I think you are the best guy for this review. 😋☺️👍🏻 Thanks again!

  19. hellsoul0 on July 22, 2021 at 9:28 pm

so i guess the best kind of all rounder for gaming and streaming watching usage at 55inch for under a 1000$ would be the TCL R635 huh.

  20. wildjptx on July 22, 2021 at 9:32 pm

Hello Fomo, Your videos are SO HELPFUL – I’d like your advise on a tv – My parents live in southamerica, and for some reason very few brands and models make it over there — I’d like to buy them a budget 4k and noticed that there is a TLC 50P615 (50 inch) at the same pricing of Samsung TU8000 (50 inch) – I am finding it so hard to find any reviews in the TLC to compare (it may be one of those models directed only to other countries) but i’ve heard TLC can be pretty good and has Android OS — Could you please PLEASE pretty please advise?

  21. Spanish Rice on July 22, 2021 at 9:32 pm

What I told yall about that R635 best bang for your buck tv in 2020 I was lucky to get my tv for 650 back in January the 55 inch version, The picture quality very good for a LED

  22. DEVILFISH -DK- on July 22, 2021 at 9:34 pm

  27. Cesar S on July 22, 2021 at 9:39 pm

Love your channel bro. I’m thinking of getting the LG NanoCell 91 Series 2020 86 inch Class 4K Smart UHD NanoCell TV w/ AI ThinQ from Costco for 2499.99
What are your thoughts. I have 3 other TVs and they’re LGs. I really like the interface and the remote.
    Would really appreciate your feedback.
    Thanks

  28. SkyrimGod on July 22, 2021 at 9:39 pm

Im not the biggest fan of oled. I have the CX and honestly I prefer my H9G. Oled is over rated.

  29. jesse mena on July 22, 2021 at 9:40 pm

Wish the u8g came In 75” ! I’d definitely give it a shot … I need a 75” asap but wondering wat the best bang for buck is

  30. Slimer on July 22, 2021 at 9:41 pm

Right now $1600 can get you a 75" X900H for dark room/HDR or Nanocell 90 for gaming/wide angles, and both are Dolby Cinema enabled.

  31. OverRide_System aka BlackIceDragon82 on July 22, 2021 at 9:42 pm

Is Sony X900H great tv for gaming & Movies ?

  32. Greg S. on July 22, 2021 at 9:42 pm

Ok, so Sony 75" 900H vs 65" 950H for a bright room with a window directly across from the TV? I hear the 950H has much better reflection/glare reduction? Does the bigger is better recomendation still hold true when dealing with some extra glare?

  33. 1Aquadon on July 22, 2021 at 9:42 pm

Thanks, FOMO .. I’m happy so far with my 77" CX but they have ripped out some screen protection options like auto-off specifically.
I watch my tv to help me fall asleep and "ALWAYS " having to set the timer is a pain…having a 1/2hour increment auto-off would be awesome. Also, I love my DENON AVR that has a dedicated button on the remote that progressively cycles thru the sleep timer "times" and has 10-minute increments thru the first hour… VERY CONVENIENT.
CX also has a great screen saver that turns on in 5 minutes BUT ONLY ON NETFLIX AND OTHER LG APPS ON THE TV… I WANT TO SEE SCREEN SAVER ON ALL HDMI INPUTS LIKE FOR MY OPPO AND PS4 inputs. Now that would set this Oled apart even more so from the rest. and what happened to 48 GB/Sec? rip it out just to put it back later at a higher price point? Seems to me there should have been 2 versions of the CX one with 48GB/sec and the other without at a lower price… giving us the option of whether we wanted to afford it!

  34. uzishooteruzishooter on July 22, 2021 at 9:42 pm

Crazy they jacked the TCL price again. Makes me feel even better about getting it for $720 at Best Buy Outlet unopened. 😎

  35. Gougoulina 20 on July 22, 2021 at 9:44 pm

You need body guards, that knowledge in your brain is very valuable

  36. Sanhita Mukherji on July 22, 2021 at 9:48 pm

Can you review LG nanocell 90 series; it’s available at the same ballpark price as x900H and u8g

  37. skins4thewin on July 22, 2021 at 9:52 pm

Honestly, I would have included the LG CX (C10) in with the $1,500 crowd, as you can get a 55" model of that one for even less, at just around $1,300 or so. So you save around $700 just by going a bit smaller in size but will still get the top tier fantastic performance and picture quality. Absolutely worth it imo. I am really hoping that the CX goes on sale this Black Friday and ends up being closer to the $1,000 mark. I will absolutely be buying one if that happens. Or if the C1 goes on sale, same thing. Will gladly pick up one of those instead.

  38. Nicholas Arsenio on July 22, 2021 at 9:53 pm

I need a 55” tv for my air bnb however I want it to last long. What do you recommend?

  39. jesse mena on July 22, 2021 at 9:54 pm

Can you do a video like this for 75” or bigger

  40. Craig Osterberg on July 22, 2021 at 9:56 pm

    👍

  41. Defund Gun Control on July 22, 2021 at 9:58 pm

Did not mention the LG C1. It is priced at $2200 locally where I am at this week, for a 65”.

  42. Ismael Rivera on July 22, 2021 at 9:58 pm

Got my eyes on the TCL 6 series for sure. Too much bang for buck and a great all-rounder.

  43. Uk Vaper on July 22, 2021 at 9:59 pm

Been a subscriber for over a year. You have been integral into my decision making process when choosing a TV. Keep up the good work!

  44. Andy McCray on July 22, 2021 at 9:59 pm

Love you videos so much. Got the vizio oled 65" and I love it.

  45. noobschoolbus on July 22, 2021 at 9:59 pm

Hey FOMO, thanks for the review. I’m most concerned about watching 24fps animation without any stutter, and the Vizio PQX actually has the best stutter rating that I’ve found in the $1k range. Is a Vizio even worth considering compared to the Sony or TCL?

  46. Евгений Агишев on July 22, 2021 at 10:00 pm

Hello. In my city sell LG OLED55CX for $ 1360. How do you think this is a good offer ?
    P.S. now I use Samsung 48KS8000 bought in 2016.
    Thx.

  47. Zerez on July 22, 2021 at 10:01 pm

FOMO, Thank you for the content firstly, so your content always helps me in getting a better understanding of what to look for and the market. 🙂

Question: FOMO, If you don’t mind answering, I would like to know what would be a great tv to get to use a monitor. I do play games so I am looking for something that can support this. Also, I want it to be no bigger than 43inch or if possible 39/40inch.

    I would like your opinion on if;
Is be best to go for an OLED or other type of tv’s
At different price points what to consider
What could be looked at getting now and what I could look at getting in say in 6-12mnth
    Is worth/better to wait
What about 8k in relation to this matter.

    Thanks again, your insight.

    Reza

  48. SP on July 22, 2021 at 10:02 pm

I had a Hisense TV, it lasted me just well over a year. Never again. I’ll spend the extra money and go for something that actually lasts.

Great vid man! Very informative and you really helped calm my fears about going from a 75X950H to a soon-to-be-delivered 85X900H
