For me personally ive went through lots of different setups and brands. I ended up going back to Denon after my Elite didnt cut it and my flagship Onkyo had the common HDMI failure.
Speaker matching to any setup is a make or break for any system.
Please do a review on poineer sc lx 904 thanks
This is just a recital of stats not a comparison.
Hi, Microsoft Sam
Si para que vengan a desonponermelo
I’m new to all this and am looking at getting the Yamaha RX-V685. I’m curious can you use Air Play 2 if you have wired speakers hooked up to the receiver? Or do the speakers themselves have to be Air Play 2 compatible?
If you want good music most of the time try to avoid buying AV amplifiers Yamaha sound s*** they call it delicate and natural sounding let’s be honest it sounds s*** your driving your amplifier fullblast for a a little bit of power Denon is pretty much the same a little bit better since they’ve adopted Odyssey from Onkyo but that’s about it I don’t think and I haven’t seen any on the market today especially the new Atmos receivers that are any good including Onkyo but without trying to sound biased 10 years ago go on P&O did rule the roost they sounded amazing musically and on film they were brilliant with or without subwoofers expensive speakers or not they absolutely pissed over everything now I’m not so sure if you want good music get a designated stereo amplifier if you want good films get a good soundbar this is dead technology you just have to look around at the shops whether it be stereo amplifiers or surround sound receiver they all look the same Onkyo Pioneer and somebody else are all the same company now is it any wonder they all looked and sound the f****** same absolutely f****** s*** they are all mediocre f****** piles of crap I’ve wasted 20 years of my life f****** about with this ship I should have stuck with my 20 year-old designated stereo amplifier which is the rattle my f****** phone’s there anything this rattles is my patience
I say that all the old ones made in Japan are still the best amplifiers ever made
I have a Denon PMA-S10II that I will never part with
Just got the Denom 4500 wow wow wow what a machine when it comes to power and sound currently installing my star light ceiling and then the 4 atmos over head speakers to give me 7,2.4.
Can highly recommended the Denon just for sound quality alone and power deliverance.
Hands down a Macintosh from the late sixties early seventies would destroy all these pretenders.
Heard denon has a great tone for movies but ok for music. And Yamaha has a great tone for music and a good tone for movies. This true?
You will face protection mode soon
Well it’s about time someone left out the tuner. I haven’t listened to commercial radio in over 25 years. The problem is they keep interrupting the commercials with music. Same for TV for that matter 😁. YouTube is getting pretty close😳.
I am still using my Yamaha DSP-A1000 Audio/Video Amplifier for music and movies, which I bought back in 1993! I’m thinking of upgrading ONLY because of the different technologies that movies are recorded in, like Dolby Atmos.
I don’t have much money. Really. I have a Sony STR-DH590. I only use it for music. TT, CD’S and cassettes. Audio Technica AT-LP120XUSB. Teac 850. A pair of Marantz speakers from 1985. About a thousand dollars, and it took me months to get my components. I know it’s not the best gear, but it was all I could afford. So all you guys who say "That’s crap. You should have gotten a [whatever…] It’s only $200.00 more." just remember those of us on a limited budget. Stay safe.
OK, but I will still use my 20 yo Onkyo amplifier xD
Thanks but I’ll keep my Onkyo TX-NR797 audio quality Kicks A$$
I haven’t found anything that compares to the sound quality of my 1984 HarmonKardon system. My Yamaha is good and does video but my Old HK is choice when I want to hear anything. I wish I could get an AV that had that sound!
Im wondering why all of this amplifier doesn’t have microphone input.while back home hsa microphone input echo and bass and trebble.
Yamaha 781, the Best.
how about denon avr-x4700H ?
Does the 4500 have fm tuner?
Too wide a range of av receivers. I’m out
Presentation interrupted by a commercial – thumbs down. Don’t put commercials in the middle of a presentation it’s disrespectful.
For me MARANTZ sr 7015 😍😍better DENON
"phono output"
Almost no home audio turntables have inputs. They have outputs that go to the receiver. The receiver has phono inputs.
11:34 – AVR-X6500H (not AVC).
I’ll take the x3600h over the x4500h any day for $799
How in thee fuck does marantz not make the list?
Great show👍👍👍, what is the best AVR for the PS5 and XBOX SERIES X as both counsel Don’t have a optical out?, please advise, many thanks👍👍, keep up the good work.
I dj at home as a hobby. I have a Sony tower and 2 polk towers along with a Sony 100w Sub. I also have a 3000w Crown amplifier. Do I need an equalizer or AV receiver?
No EARC = No deal
Thanks, but I’ll keep my Onkyo TX-RZ3100
Just returned the Denon S-960H. Junk, with zero customer support. Will never go near another Denon product.
Listening to arcam avr550 just now….
Now discontinued but still great sound from low to high volume….
Yes it’s very expensive, but amazing deals now with over 50% off.
Wow, the homeless guy on the next block can hear it just perfectly. Oh yeah, Demon doesn’t have a tuner; forget about it. I’ll go to Walmart and get a Casio stereo
AV Receiver in 2021 must have at least 2 HDMI2.1 input !!! otherwise is obsolete
sony best avr in best surround system
Best one I’ve ever had was a Onkyo .
If you are buying a new receiver to accommodate the new gaming systems you may want to research the chip set bug. I just saw a video on it so you may want to wait before purchasing. Denon, Marantz and Yamaha from what I’ve read
I have the Sony STR-DH790…had it for 3 years and I’m very happy with it, very nice theater quality sound; I also have Polk in-ceiling speakers, and Klipsch 10” subwoofer…great combination IMHO.
I think Anthem just made this video irrelevant 😊
Phono are INPUTS !
Anthem AV??????
All new stereos are junk .didn’t used to need amp ..or amplified speakers. . Good old sansui and pioneer. . And the rest of the gone but not forgotten receivers. When wattage was king..still have all my old goodies .they are like gold .
What is best 7.1 or 7.2 avr
Are they really required nowadays with amazing sound bars available. The Pioneer AV receivers I bought last years cuts the video from time to and it is pissing me off like leave the video alone just pass it through don’t process anything and don’t cut the video for god’s sake… Next setup will be Sonos sound bar with sub and that’s it!
You have no idea what you’re talking about.
Too complicated description…this is for nerds…what about considering those who want quality equipment but without jargon?
Denon AVR-S750H is worth looking at for a budget model for home theater.
