I took the android Development course from Rob Percival. He explains everything nicely. But he doesn’t go in details and UI of apps is very bad. When he teaches list view in the course he doesn’t even make a custom list. He just uses the default list. And you barely use default one in the real world.
Now talking about ui. I was really excited for whatsapp clone app but i was so disappointed when I saw the final product. He just made an app that send queries and listens for queries. No way near WhatsApp.
Then I took the android basics course on udacity(free courses not the nanodegree) they teach better than Rob and the UI is way way better than Rob it is very polished. The go in huge detail.
So I will recommend everyone to save their money and take udacity course instead. Although udacity course is very lengthy compared to any other course but it will teach you something no other course will.
What is your nationality Jana ?
Thanks for the video!
I am an absolute beginner and wanted to start with android in Kotlin and I was so confused in all these courses. Your advice seems to be fairly correct and I will follow it. You solved my confusion.
Thanks a lot. ❤️
But in the course "The Complete Android Oreo Developer Course – Build 23 Apps!" you have mentioned that he has not talked about {"checkboxes", "progress bars", "splash screens", "FRAGMENTS"} how will I manage such things.
Hi I am a beginner to android development and I would like to take the course from denispanujuta is it good for a beginner who doesn’t have any coding background
I’m a beginner and I want to learn how to create current apps in 2020, but there are many people who say that this course "The Complete Android Oreo Developer Course – Build 23 Apps" is from very old versions of android, do you think it can help me with something, or if the android version is old, won’t it help me at all?
I brought web development course on your suggestions, i hope this video also helps me. 👍
I really love your channel content.
Please keep making this type of videos.
Thanks for considering my course in your list 🙂
Looking to update it to work flawlessly with Android 11 in the next few weeks!
Thank you for the reviews, it helps quite a bit to have comparisons and make informed choices on which one to take.
