Best 5G Coverage in Each State!

Best 5G Coverage in Each State!

Which carrier has the best 5G coverage in your state?? This video goes by STATE BY STATE giving you the best carrier and percentage of 5G coverage so you know which carrier to choose for 5G. https://www.whistleout.com/CellPhones/Guides/what-is-5g

Most 5G Coverage | 0:00
5G Coverage Overview | 1:00
States with the Most Verizon 5G | 2:02
States with the Most AT&T 5G | 2:22
States with the Most T-Mobile 5G | 3:00

T-Mobile has the most 5G coverage
AT&T has the second most 5G coverage
Verizon has the third most 5G coverage
US Cellular has the least of amount of 5G coverage

– People are always asking me who has the most 5g coverage in my state, in my city, et cetera, et cetera. Today, I am answering that question. I am going state by state in just a few minutes telling you which carrier has the best 5g coverage.
I wanna give you an overall look at what 5g coverage looks like in the United States. As of December, 2020. That’s the most recent data we have when we go month by month. T-Mobile has the most 5g coverage at 36% coverage of the entire United States. AT&T is next at 16%. And Verizon is in third at 10% and United or US Cellular, excuse me, is at the bottom with just not that much 5g coverage but they do have one holding in one state.

Okay, we’re gonna start with Verizon. Where does Verizon have the most coverage? Which state can look forward to Verizon coverage right now when it comes to 5g, that is Delaware. Verizon has 82%, 5g coverage in Delaware and AT & T comes after them with 78% coverage. So if you’re in Delaware and you want 5g coverage, Verizon is the way to go. And just a fun fact for you, Delaware is the only state in which Verizon has the most 5g coverage. Next, we’re gonna check out AT & T. If we take a full look at the AT & T 5g coverage map, you can see that there is a decent amount of coverage but the states with the most AT & T coverage are Alaska, Florida has 48% coverage, Massachusetts 38%, Maryland 68%, New Jersey 77, New York has 31% coverage. And Ohio has 55% coverage. Rhode Island comes in at 66% coverage from AT & T. T-Mobile is the runner up in all of these States for 5g coverage, except for Ohio where Verizon is the runner up with 48% coverage.

If you didn’t hear your state for coverage yet with Verizon or AT & T that’s probably because T-Mobile has the most coverage in your state. Now that is a lot of States, so I’m just gonna highlight a few, and if I don’t hear your state just know that T-Mobile has the most 5g coverage for you. And if you’re really curious what the exact numbers are then I have a link over here in the top right-hand corner where you can see what coverage looks like in your state.

I said, I’d go over all 50 States, so we’re just gonna go over them really quickly right now. So the States with the most T-Mobile coverage are Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Washington DC not a state but an area, you get it. Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi Montana, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico and Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Wyoming, North Dakota, California, and Missouri. So, most of the country is covered by T-Mobile 5g. T-Mobile has the most doesn’t mean it is the best for instance, T mobile’s 5g speeds are a bit slower when compared to Verizon or AT & T’s so, just because you have T-Mobile 5g doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good, or that you’ll even need to use it or want to connect to it. So just keep that in mind, but this video will be updated probably quarterly because that’s how often we get new coverage information.

Gotta be real, think this is the first time I’ve seen Alaska next to Florida. Most of the time it’s always next to Baja California.

Wow, T-Mobile’s 5G coverage is crazy.

  5. Maverick F14Tomcat on October 25, 2021 at 9:49 am

The new T only has low band 5G which is slower speeds nationwide.

Verizon has the best 5G speeds with mmw uwb.

AT&T has the best 5G coverage 2nd both speeds and coverage.

    Pick your poison!

Almost everyone is going to say T-Mobile has the best 5G coverage. Verizon is using DSS 5G is most areas. That shares bandwidth with LTE so DSS 5G is pretty much useless.

I have verizon and I’ve been connected to 5g maybe five or six times for a few minutes in the year I’ve had a 5g phone. Probably switching to TMobile soon. No use in having 5g if you’re NEVER connected to it!

Thanks for the value add information. I’m actually shopping today and it seems that 5G is still not worth the spend for someone who travels weekly like me. I will be going with AT&T for now.

    What about Puerto Rico??
Why do you never talk about PR? There is no Verizon native coverage, ATT just sold all their assett there so the only US company with great coverage in the US territory singled out by many, is Tmobile.

  15. Mitsos Ts on October 25, 2021 at 10:12 am

T-Mobile is using mostly the low band (N71). It may be good in coverage, but it lacks in speeds…

My 4g VZ speeds always have beat TMOBILE’s 5g. The service just sucks when traveling. Ppl that I’m with always rely on my Verizon service when traveling 😏🙄

    Yeah TMobile is 🗑️🗑️

Interesting video but please don’t mistake 5G for “quality coverage”! I live in Kentucky and you can have full service 5G on T-Mobile and get less than 5 mbps in completely uncontested areas AND constantly drop calls! Don’t buy into the hype and coverage maps. Do your own testing.

  21. Max Tech Studios on October 25, 2021 at 10:21 am

I’m in Wisconsin, and have great speeds on Mint Mobile with T-Mobile low-band 5G.

  22. Christopher Mcginty on October 25, 2021 at 10:22 am

In Alaska, GCI has the best 5G coverage not ATT. I have speed tests from both. GCI was averaging 250+MBPS. ATT had a measly 65 MBPS.

Google Fi — All 50 states, it is #1. Why? Because Google Fi simultaneously uses T-mobile, Sprint, AT&T, US Celluar (which will be Verizon in some markets). And by that, I mean, your phone will automatically switch between all those networks automatically. You are no longer just T-mobile or just AT&T with roaming (for example). You are all the above all the time, no matter where you go. Feel free to move about the country.

  24. Philips Casull on October 25, 2021 at 10:23 am

I have Sprint in New Jersey and it was good. I changed the chip for T mobile and the internet only says loading. Terrible T mobile. Now switch to ATT.

Another fabulous video! I’ve been very happy with my 5G coverage. The only complaint I have is that developers need to start implementing apps & features that really take advantage of it. As always thank you so much for what you do 😊!

If you’re looking for a good reliable carrier in California I would steer clear of T-Mobile in fact I would steer clear of T-Mobile if you live anywhere on far pacific side of the US since they have the least coverage in each state
