I just don’t get it. Why does it matter if I use 100 GB on my iPad or if I tether my laptop and use 100 GB on it!? Data is data and it’s coming from the same device, just a different screen. AT&T has always found a way to screw over people in rural areas.

Great video! You guys do an awesome job. I got a question if I may. Heading to AK via east coast and Canada. I bought a tablet SIM card on eBay to use for the unlimited with Att on the iPad. Little did I know they are throttling after 10gb. Is it possible to still get the “access for iPad 4G LTE” plans? If it is possible, how do I get it?

Can I use this plan on my phone just for data?

  10. Tim R on March 22, 2021 at 1:29 am

This isn’t really new. I was clued into it a while ago. If you have the old pre Unlimited Your Way you get the cap. If you had the older one, you don’t have the cap as long as the existing lines were not on Unlimited Basic.

Been on this plan for over 2 years 40 Mbps at 4am , 1Mbps or less at 9pm. 350GB a month. ATT wireless been down 5 days here in Central Texas Hill country, some friends have been down for 2 weeks out in the Country.. Patched my network thru my T-Mobile Cell. Ordered T-Mobile At Home Internet 2 weeks ago and it’s back ordered. Should be here next week. In the 9 day Ice /Blizzard here in Texas T-Mobile went out for 4 hours. Att went down at the same time and stayed down.

  17. Patrick Tam on March 22, 2021 at 1:49 am

I feel like I don’t use it that much but typing on my iPad Pro with it in. Not bad for like $24 after tax

  18. Rob Jacobs on March 22, 2021 at 1:49 am

  19. Shawn Carlson on March 22, 2021 at 1:50 am

I’m confused!! If you have the iPad plan, on device is unlimited and hotspot is limited to 10Gig? Or is all of it limited to 10Gig on device and hotspot???

  20. Jose Martinez on March 22, 2021 at 1:50 am

Thanks. I will buy a tablet today and also take one of my own to ATT.🤗👍

  21. Dominic Wood on March 22, 2021 at 1:54 am

If you really argue and take the patients you can get the account as a canadian 😁 make sure to let them know you dont have a SSN and you want them to use a generic SSN number like 1111111 or 00000 or something like this. Some people will say they cannot do it but some will. It depends on the rep. 18 hours later of phone calls and ive got it. Unlimited no data caps so far for me 😂😂😂😂

  22. Brian Weaver on March 22, 2021 at 1:56 am

Does this data plan work in Mexico?

  23. Champ Champ on March 22, 2021 at 1:56 am

Does this keep hd streaming? I’m on an older plan that keep the hd streaming and everyone is telling that even the standalone plan is sd.

Any suggestions on finding someone at AT&T who can set this up? I have called numerous times and no one can seem to find this option. One representative spoke with numerous departments trying to locate this plan and everyone said it did not exist or was discontinued.
