I have a Miele double wall oven, a Breville Oven, a Joule sous vide stick, and a Brava. Would it be wrong for me to get this?

  2. Corn Floats on May 2, 2021 at 5:35 am

I love your review. Could this oven also dehydrate fruits, vegetables, herbs, roots?

    can u bake cakes?

  4. W諭 on May 2, 2021 at 5:37 am

May I ask for the size of the rack? Thanks

  5. Tim L on May 2, 2021 at 5:37 am

The food pictures you show of the burnt fries and the raw chicken aren’t a good testament to the product.

@everday reviews My one of these arrived today – thought you might like to know the pan seems a lot sturdier than the one you have there. Good review.

Good review. I’d like to see a tear down to see how well insulated and constructed it is. I don’t quite get how they figure sous-vide since that type of cooking is emersion in water. This is definitely the way of the future as my oven is way too big and for that reason never gets used.

You have very beautiful daughters. Very lucky man. I only say this because I don’t have to raise them. Wait till the boyfriends start coming around.

Question, I have been very hesitant to buy a convection contertop oven because of one thing. The part where it’s closer to the fan tends to brown. I’m going to making croissant, a very delicate pastry. Will this do that?

  9. Ethan V on May 2, 2021 at 5:42 am

Hi, can the oven temper chocolate?

  10. Boss One on May 2, 2021 at 5:43 am

Great video. If I had the money this would be a no brainer..

  11. Biscuit 1 on May 2, 2021 at 5:43 am

    Yes

  12. Matt Cero on May 2, 2021 at 5:43 am

I like your evaluation. But, the only thing this would add beyond my convection oven is the water vapor function. I can’t justify spending $600 for the vapor when I can just toss in an ice cube or two, or add a pan of boiling water to the bottom rack to keep things moist. Thanks buddy!

Can I ask what tray you used for the bread?

  15. Diotima of Mantinea on May 2, 2021 at 5:54 am

I used to clean a combination steam oven at work with the yellow can of oven cleaner (Easy Off). Spray the inside of it with Easy off then crank the steam way up. After it heats up the steam and Easy Off basically react together to melt food residue. Open oven then just wipe off the gunk… our oven would look brand new after I did that. Of course in the version at work it had a attached handheld water sprayer and I just sprayed the inside of the oven off and everything drained through a built in drain… but I’m sure you could just wipe off this version.

DONT BUY THIS. I’ve waited 2 months for mine, got it today and now I’m fully disappointed. Nothing works, from the user guide with absolute no instructions, to the Wi-Fi that is impossible to connect (I’ve saw in other reviews that users gave up on that) and the tray that warped in the first use (I’ve read that the company is already aware of that since October and would be working on that issue by now is feb and same low quality).
I still can’t believe that the timer is just an alarm and doesn’t turn off the oven when it’s done. I wanted to confirm if that’s the way it is or mine is defective but user guide and app have no info. The only recipe on the app that I’ve tried is supper off and even quotes functions that the product doesn’t have.
There are only 4 videos on the app, totally useful (like “what’s steam for) and nothing on how to better use the product.
Looks like they were preparing a great launch but gave up on the product completely.

  19. Zhen Tao on May 2, 2021 at 5:56 am

That bread looks delicious! Is there a recipe? Thank you!

  20. Greg D on May 2, 2021 at 5:58 am

Thanks for the video! Are you able to proof bread or baking goods in this oven I mean maintaining temp around 26-28 degrees C and use the steam as well?

  21. MrChillbaer on May 2, 2021 at 5:59 am

Does it extract/vent out humidity (I mean actively, like a rational selfcooking center) if the humidity goes above the set value?

Here’s a list that helped me out.

Wow, amazing!!! Thank you for the video.

  25. living person on May 2, 2021 at 6:01 am

did you ever compare any of the (cheaper) culinary steam oven?

  26. cmaranjana on May 2, 2021 at 6:04 am

That pan warping on a $600 oven is pretty whack.
Hopefully the v2 will iron out some of the issues you addressed.
Great review though! Thanks so much!

  27. Lillian Diaz-Imbelli on May 2, 2021 at 6:05 am

You answered so many of my questions in one video!! A newbi that is no longer afraid to use my oven!! Thanks

  28. Ryan Cammer on May 2, 2021 at 6:06 am

DO NOT GET THIS OVEN! It’s terrible. Just Google "anova oven flicker" and you’ll see all of the folks who have the flickering problem. They try their best to give you a seizure with that flicker. To try and "fix" it, they tell you to apply a patch, but in order to apply the patch you need to download their buggy app, which fights you whenever you try and sign up. The patch does nothing to ameliorate the flicker, and what you’re left with is a shoddy product and an untrustworthy company that now has your information for who knows what they’ll do with it.

Avoid. It was rushed, shoddy, and the app sucks beyond belief.

  29. T Glenn on May 2, 2021 at 6:08 am

    What is its maximum temperature?

  30. Wayne Yeung on May 2, 2021 at 6:08 am

Where did you get the cool accessories?

  31. PaleRid3r66 on May 2, 2021 at 6:09 am

Thanks for the great video. I just purchased mine for my renovated kitchen, after months of anguish over the decision and I am a little apprehensive about using it, but this video was an eye opener.

  32. indra72 P on May 2, 2021 at 6:09 am

But the big question is how does it do toast?

  33. Al TAN on May 2, 2021 at 6:11 am

Thanks a lot for this great review! What is your experience with cleaning it please? Is there any pyrolyse function? Is it easy to clean?

  34. Dillon Dasher on May 2, 2021 at 6:11 am

    “Jaaaane!! Stop this crazy thiiing!!”

  35. Matthew Malinowski on May 2, 2021 at 6:11 am

Can you use it as a toaster like a toaster oven for bread? How long would it take to toast a piece of bread ?

  36. Kampela99 on May 2, 2021 at 6:13 am

, heh heh – those kids must be super happy to have him at home… 😁.

  37. Keyz Keaton on May 2, 2021 at 6:18 am

I know this is going to sound stupid but can you Dehydrate in this

  38. Jocelyn Huang on May 2, 2021 at 6:19 am

This is a very great review. Used to work w chefs in fnb kitchen and they often use combi oven. Since then Im always looking for a cheaper combo oven option. This comes in handy as I’m planning to get one for my house! Get rid of those microwaving for reheating food. This steaming function is much healthier. And definitely saving alot space. A few qns here, do we need to preheat the oven for steaming? And does the app acts as a control as well?
I just hope this multi functional oven would last for a few years.

How was shipping cross border? I’m in Vancouver, BC.
All I can find are USD prices online, can you share how much in CAD?
    Great review, glad you cook!!!

  42. Jared Cook on May 2, 2021 at 6:23 am

The warped pan is a turn off at that price,,, why cheap out on that

  43. Dave on May 2, 2021 at 6:23 am

Commercial pans warp in the ovens too

  44. Mickaël Mtp on May 2, 2021 at 6:23 am

    What a great video !
I would eventually get one of those but I’m sceptical on the taste compared to a regular circulator ?
Have you tried same piece of meat , same seasoning and oil but cooked using those two different equipment ?
The only downside of doing it with the circulator is the amount of plastic waste generated…

  45. Ri Ri on May 2, 2021 at 6:28 am

The home oven of the stainless steel does not have the inside in Japan. Enviable. Is it usable in Japan if I import it?

  46. Phillip Mulligan on May 2, 2021 at 6:28 am

Moist air exaggerates both heat and cold. Humidity is what gives cold coastal air bite and extra heat prostration in hot muggy air. Fire fighters tend to withhold water at a burning house if they feel a person or pet is still inside to avoid cooking them like lobster.

  47. Shirl Y on May 2, 2021 at 6:29 am

A thorough review from an user’s standpoint.

  48. Stand Alone on May 2, 2021 at 6:29 am

    Great job on the review!

  49. Steven Lui on May 2, 2021 at 6:30 am

Good Day, great review, I do have a question about this, I hope you can answer. This oven, can it only be used as a steamer? I would like to by some dim sum and steam buns to use in it. Please let me know.

I read it was a combi, but would like to know if it can be used as a steamer only.

    Thank you.

  50. Against All Odds on May 2, 2021 at 6:31 am

well I am convinced… I am getting one.
