I just got the 10hd for $80. They run the deal all the time. Wiped it clean and have the play store on it. Perfect media machine. 512gb card can hold a lot of movies. And they are great emulation machines too. I’ve basically got every game made for every system up until the Dreamcast all on my card. Literally thousands of retro games. The fire tablet is absolutely perfect for what o wanted it for and will suit most people’s needs honestly.

I picked this out for senior citizen parents.
The fire 10.1 can play Netflix in slightly better than 1080p HD. Walmarts tablet cannot. As far as cheaper tabs go, I won’t consider anything except Amazon. Amazon tabs are great….nothing else competes at this price

I don’t see why they are behind ipads. They are way better in my opinion.
That brand ONN has brought some damn good cheap stuff to the market. I have two diff versions of their back up battery banks and a wireless charger all worth fine and don’t scare me to drop or lose. I’ve had more expensive options that either break or work similar

My little sister just bought her self one of this Fire 10 amazon tablets during prime day, it was only around 80 bucks. But when it arrived and i saw all the amazon junk on it, I was like. NOPE! give me that!
So i took the tablet to my room, connected it to my PC and did some magic stuff. Ended up deleting the Fire OS (the tablet’s amazon operating system) and installing android on it. And with android running on it, it’s definitely worth it!
I have the new 2020 onn tablet pro, and it still ha the same good screen, but a really updates 2ghz processor and 32gb of storage

I’m looking into a tablet for productivity; specifically for drawing, sketching and designing.
right now, I’m thinking of going for Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite once it comes out because it’s much cheaper, has LTE, can easily transfer file with windows OS, and it comes with the S-pen.
is android good enough for sketching ? you have mentioned that ipad is soooo much better than android tablets.
is it worthit to fork a little more money for a non-cellular Ipad Air + Apple Pencil ?
