I’ve been on Mint Mobile for almost 3 years now and have literally not had ANY issues. If you can buy the full year package at a time, it’s almost a no brainer. I think I re-upped 10-11 months ago for the 8gb plan and it averaged to roughly $23/month after taxes. What’s amazing is literally not having to think about my cell phone plan except for once a year. They also just sent me a message saying my plan is now upped to 10gb a month, so perhaps when I need to renew again I’ll be able to slide down to an even cheaper tier

  8. Aaron Quinn on July 14, 2021 at 2:50 am

Does Tello allow SMS messages? Is there a master list of phones that work? I want to buy a phone from Amazon so I need to know which one will work.

  9. Person Incognito on July 14, 2021 at 2:50 am

It would he helpful to say this applies the the US only as people may not be from the US therefore do not have these companies in their country.

  10. We The People on July 14, 2021 at 2:53 am

How about FreeUp mobile with AT&at service?
Unlimited calls and text plus 8gb coverage

  11. Marilyn Johnson on July 14, 2021 at 2:53 am

Always enjoy your info and how you break it down. I have the Verizon plan that you talk about (over a year now so have the special). Hubby has had Red Pocket Mobile for several years now it’s on the Verizon network and they seem to have worked out newbie kinks. It’s on an auto pay and he gets 1G data, unlimited talk and text for $10 per month. Works great for us.

  12. _Suburban_ on July 14, 2021 at 2:54 am

I was about ready to switch to Mint Mobile, but was looking for a new customer deal or coupon code on Facebook and there are a whole lot of complaints about their customer service, much like the Amazon reviews for Mint. I haven’t found a better option, but I don’t think I want Mint.

  13. Tami on July 14, 2021 at 2:55 am

I have had Straight talk services for 2 years the telephone talk service is okay but the 4G LTE is more like 2G my phone would keep falling out of 4G services and it should not because it is a very good phone with good radios the Moto z4 I also have a iPhone 11 it would do the same thing, my wife Samsung S10 was on the AT&t server it would fall out in different areas very easy the same phone I had had previously on T-Mobile server no problem…. The iPhone and the Moto z4 were on the Verizon servers the 4G LTE was horrible….. Straight talk still wanting a lot of money for cheap services I mean they should be all unlimited with hotspot capabilities and not limited this is 2021….. Visible and T-Mobile will put them out of business before long….. PS Straight talk will not unlock your phone it don’t matter if you have had it for a year and a half they will not do it hope this is help someone to save you from the headache and the heartache that I have had…..

  19. Larry Storey on July 14, 2021 at 3:02 am

I switched to Verizon 5GB prepaid based on your recommendation. I get more data and it cut my monthly bill in half! Thanks dudes!

  20. Otoniel Castro on July 14, 2021 at 3:03 am

    What about Spectrum mobile?

  21. J C on July 14, 2021 at 3:04 am

Great video. Thanks. Lot’s to consider. What are your thoughts on US Mobile $15/month for 5 gig of data?
Also, Yahoo mobile (Verizon) is offering $40/month unlimited. Stay for 3 months and get $300 gift card for a profit of $80. Then you can just leave switch after the 3 months if you want.

  22. Merlinda Martinez on July 14, 2021 at 3:05 am

I’ve never had a pre-paid phone plan, but you’ve peaked my interest. Are taxes & fees charged for these plans?

  23. Wanda Kaluza on July 14, 2021 at 3:06 am

    What is the best router?

  24. Howard Roark on July 14, 2021 at 3:06 am

The AT&T 8GB plan not only includes calling to/ from Canada and Mexico but also full use of data while in Canada or Mexico.

  25. Adventure Traveling on July 14, 2021 at 3:10 am

So far mint mobile is doing pretty good service as long as in your area coverage by T-mobile 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

  26. The123michaelsilva on July 14, 2021 at 3:14 am

Stop pushing T-mobile! There coverage sucks when you get out of the big cities 😕

  27. Jerry King on July 14, 2021 at 3:14 am

For a 73 year old tech dinosaur you guys are great. Knowledge is power and yours is understandable. Thank you.

  29. Sam Kawa on July 14, 2021 at 3:15 am

    How about Visible?

  31. Marylou Colby on July 14, 2021 at 3:16 am

Total wireless. Is only 35 unlimited.

  32. Sahal Saney on July 14, 2021 at 3:20 am

That Mint plan now is 10G they upgraded yesterday you need to update this Video.

  33. Bernoullis Mom on July 14, 2021 at 3:21 am

No pricing for AT&T? Yet pricing for others. No mention of whether you have an existing AT&T plan. Connection fees per line, etc.
    Devil is in the details.
AT&T is a pain to deal with. I’ve had them for 20 yrs on a signature plan. But if I switch to ELITE plan they want documentation repeated and may not honor.
Sorry. I once respected your POV.
    You’re part of the problem.

  34. Craig Durango on July 14, 2021 at 3:24 am

    Highly informative, thanks a bunch!!

  35. Only me on July 14, 2021 at 3:25 am

My 30Gb broadband kept running out two into the month for the first 5 months I was with Vodafone. I am not with Vodafone any longer. Trying to talking to a person at Vodafone is nearly impossible and when you do get through, they offer to sell you more broadband at a premium while ignoring the 29 days of the month I did not get what I paid for.

  36. Renee S on July 14, 2021 at 3:26 am

I consistently use just under 20 GB a month watching YouTube videos and quite a bit of reading/research = lots of Search. Have been seriously thinking about Mint Mobile but I worry switching will be the same headache Straight Talk has given to me with my unlocked At&T phone.

  37. Jeremiah Linowes on July 14, 2021 at 3:27 am

Hey do you guys recommend any of these for short term like 2 months only? im here on a trip

  38. Reese Malott on July 14, 2021 at 3:28 am

In the data part of plans..which ones have for example .. like the 8 gigs a month but is actually unlimited data but just slower after the 8 gigs. You mentioned on a couple but just wanted to verify if more than the two you mentioned

  39. Lily Valley on July 14, 2021 at 3:28 am

1st David talking kind of good looking cute. Lol. I am trying to switch from Cricket. I love the Tmobile color, trusted Sprint only & hated Att, cuz of high prices Samsung Galaxy cell got on Walmart. Is just me so no family plan. My family is all separated in diff areas & state country etc. My brother in other state, but will tell him for his. I will ask him. Yeah like ropes in with Att & then Consumer Cellular a bit as bad, but not $10 a gig was a bill like $100-$200. Plus like Sprint Broadband, but laptop stolen I could not pay the service anymore. I want to get rich to pay back, but poor Sprint. Their cells looked good or to upgrade with them.

  40. Carlos Brito on July 14, 2021 at 3:29 am

    They forgot about visible mobile

  41. nomebear on July 14, 2021 at 3:29 am

I’ve been happy with Mint by paying once a year. It’s seldom that I don’t have atleast 4 bars.

  42. Henry Johnson on July 14, 2021 at 3:29 am

    Mint’s 8GB plan now has 10GB.

  49. dabig 25 on July 14, 2021 at 3:39 am

currently have T-mobile and cover is bad to non existent in rural areas where I’m at. Verizon has the best coverage where I’m at but also the most expensive. Looking to try out US Mobile. They use Verizon and T-mobile towers. Family plans include unlimited data/text and 50gb of shared data. They offer a free Sim card to try out for 14 days

  50. Ironman4321wow on July 14, 2021 at 3:42 am

Awesome thanks. Just easily signed up for Tello mobile plan only $10 a month! Unlimited talk and text. 1 GB
