I think that everything you say regarding power is subjective, while the Bose brand does not indicate the actual power emitted by the speaker, what sounds strong to you for others may be weak. Don’t get me wrong, I know that the Bosรฉ brand always has a good sound but it would help a lot and it would be more realistic to indicate the power in watts RMS. Greetings.

  29. Danny Winget on May 8, 2021 at 6:30 am

    Hi,
I am planning to buy a good soundbar for my living room. I am looking a couple of options as of now.
Bose Soundbar 700 + Bose Bass module 500. or Polk Audio AM8415-A MagniFi MAX SR 5.1
I will be mostly using the soundbar for Music and a little for watching movies too. Can you suggest a good option?

Some people say it’s hard to hear vocals especially in movies. Is this true? (Even when adjustment has been made with centre at max settings)

  48. D J on May 8, 2021 at 6:57 am

Danny, can you make an educated guess on when we can expect BOSE to release new models that might even feature current audio standards? ๐Ÿ˜‰ (and/or upfiring speakers etc etc.. ) this year maybe or do we normally look at 5 years ?

  49. PEDRO CARRENO on May 8, 2021 at 6:58 am

    Nice video
    The sound bar 700
Sound better with the subwoofer Bose 700?

  50. Raja on May 8, 2021 at 6:59 am

It is May 2020. Have ordered a Bose 500 soundbar with matching wireless subwoofer from Costco for $799. The lack of Dolby Atmos has me a bit concerned, but instinctively I feel that in all these years, Dolby Digital has done a terrific job, and I think maybe I won’t worry about this. Anyone concerned about the lack of Atmos in the Bose 500/700? The real reason I ordered the 500 bundle is that it uses HDMI eARC which I understand is the wave of the future as regards lightning fast audio connection from and to the TV. So I have to look for a TV that can use that feature. Samsung TVs do not; the top of the line LG and Sony do.
