I’ll give you a freebie game mechanic off the top of my head for shooters that improves realism…
While strafing you have a chance to fall over… Firing your gun whilst strafing increases your chance to fall over and severely impacts your acurracy… This effect only lasts whilst strafing… Which is very very slow movement sideways…
Just don’t play online with crossplay.
