So much, I extracted the keycaps off my durgod k320 taurus and popped them on my glorious gmmk compact… Just, such a fun board that reminded me of my work keyboard (cooler master quick fire cm storm that I had since 2015) even with the switch selection and lack of hotswap
*EDIT* obviously this is VERY biased to *my* own taste, lol, all the choices above are obviously good, just, yah, hope you caught the joke that I’m using one of the keyboards mentioned above, all because I wanted to try that hotswap, and that I’m not actually busing the durgod anymore
why isnt the hyperx alloy fps pro with speed switches in any lsit? Its always the alloy origins?
I just upgraded from my membrane laptop keyboard to the razer huntsman elite and its just… it’s so good, also the wristwrest of it is really nice

Fuck small keyboards, they’re for Donald Trump and childrens hands, what I need is an XL keyboard!
And I don’t want lights under the keys bleeding out, only the lettering on the key should light up.
I bought a Roccat tkl because of this video, and man within 24 hours I need to return it. I didnt think the pinging would be that bad, but when I type with no headphones, its basically nails on chalkboard. Everything about this keyboard is amazing, but the pinging is so bad.
So the question with the huntsman is if the optical switch is worth the price over the ducky?

I find them just loud and annoying when typing for longer amount of time, even gaming, so what’s up with that? Yea sure I’m sitting here with an old ass roccat isku fx, but atm I can’t really see any reason switching to mechanical…

I still love my Razer Blackwidow Elite full-sized keyboard with its linear, silent switches. I’ll always go for a full-sized keyboard because gaming isn’t the only thing I do with it, and I find the num pad very useful. Thanks for featuring the Roccat keyboard… I have their RGB mousepad and have been looking at their other stuff.

Call me old-fashioned, but I come from a time when loud keys meant you didn’t spend enough money on your keyboard.
Having finally tried a mechanical keyboard, I can not understand the trend at all. I went with a Reddragon with brown switches.The keys are too high, it’s bulky, "retro-ugly" and after few minutes I grew tired of the RGB nonsense. It’s simply irritating to use.
Had to send it back. Currently using a cheap Microsoft 600 Keyboard. Much better.
