We’ve seen some dumb things creep into phone design, but there’s some hope.

Top 3 recent trends are better named as consumers wishlist. I don’t see them happening, since market is towards money making rather than addressing consumer needs.
bring the 16:9 aspect ratio back
Who else watched this while breathing?
Most hated feature was taken away 3.5mm headphone jack.
The least favourite, any notch and punch holes and especially pill shaped cutouts. Give me thin top and bottom bezels any day any time.
That folding sh*t means nothing for me. I don’t think it’s functional. I can’t stand that drop sh*t, either. It is like a dirt and irritating for me. I always shut it.
I want the Galaxy fold!
Hmm, do you not consider 5G a trend as well…. Worth mentioning.
I bought the A9 and found out that the camera is not as good as S10+.
Bring back the headphone jack!
removable battery
and more modular phones like fairphone for easy upgrade
least desire trend, phone manufacturer still giving similar battery capacity even when the screen are getting bigger…. more mAh(at least 5000mAh) means can last 2 days usage, after 3years usage still last one whole day… they just want consumer buy new phone once battery weaks…..
I hate my S10’s edge screen, wish I had bought s10e
That is a marvelous. Like a tablet
Best phone features that need to stay around: Removable batteries and headphone jacks
Ain’t broke, doesn’t need fixing people!
notches, removing buttons and killing headphone jacks, why are phone trends now just annoying
Samsung s10 king world winer
Hi How are you?
I need your help in deciding on my new phone. I had Samsung galaxy s3 long time ago and after that I have been using iphone 6 for 4.5 years now. I want to change my phone but can’t decide if I should go for iPhone XR or Samsung S10+. Tempted towards latter but not sure if phone will give same performance down the line (say 3-4 years from now). Iphone has advantage of regular updates but I might not feel much change in upgrading to XR.
Please advise. Thanks a lot
cnet doesnt know shit lol. this is on the same lvl of sponsored ads down to the budget phones
Notches need to go extinct
bring back 5 inch screen phones and head phone jacks
I cannot stand my iPhone x’s face unlock. There is no situation where it is better than using your thumb. Your thumb is always right with your phone where as your face is not. To unlock it I have to put a bright phone up closer to my face than I can even read the screen whereas my thumb was already right there ready to go!
I still rocking iPhone 7plus with awesome camera.
Least: notch
Every phone should have at least 2 speakers
I wish to see more budget options in the US market.
