  22. faustsmith on February 23, 2021 at 10:39 pm

Could you please say "all" monitor specifications needed to run Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 in terms of 1080p, 2560 x 1440p and 4K monitors? With fps in the range of 30fps to 45 fps what monitor refresh rate is best to use? Will a 60Hz monitor be best or a higher refresh rate monitor is better considering fps does dip down to around 28 fps at times and are not uncommon? Thanks for your help.

  30. Audio Addicted on February 23, 2021 at 10:46 pm

What is the best display for xbox series x is it the omen x27. I had an asus vg27aq and it realy looked bad at 60hz on 120hz the games that supported it was good. Which to choose for competitiv shooters zowie, hp omen. Xsx only has 60hz & 120hz mode. I would love to see a video. Great content 👌🏻

Me who can’t even afford a 10 piece mcnugget: interesting

  41. PC Rx on February 23, 2021 at 11:09 pm

I’m actually considering going down to 1080p 144hz from 1440p 144hz to save me more on gpus and improve performance on some of these new games. I can’t tell too much of a ppi difference at 27in in games and having a higher FPS paired with 144hz is way more noticeable for me

  42. Missedcaribou on February 23, 2021 at 11:09 pm

Am I the only one that doesn’t want a 144hz monitor because I will get uses to 144hz and need a pc that can run games at 144hz.

  43. Builder on February 23, 2021 at 11:12 pm

Your AOC Mode lnumbers are incomplete. The letters behind "AOC 2*x*G2 _ _ _ signify great differences, which are sometimes explained further down on Amazon offers, sometimes not.
For example, not all AOC 27G2 Modelle actually do have the IPS display you are recommending them for.
Some are curved without any mention of panel technology, some are flat and declared to have a VA panel. Actually trying to buy one becomes a hot mess this way.
While the inaccuracies in Amazon’s descriptions aren’t your fault, you could give the complete model number, rather than the first part. I know you have the Affiliate links, but those work only for you if you’re actually in the US…

Beyond that, I find your opinions and recommendations far more trust worthy than most videos monitor recommendation lists on Youtube… much appreciated 🙂

  46. sic22l on February 23, 2021 at 11:14 pm

Why AOC CQ27G2 instead of Gigabyte M27Q (or G27Q)? They cost about the same but Gigabyte is faster.

    17.11

  48. Dian Diallo on February 23, 2021 at 11:14 pm

Thanks for the info. Do an update video please.

  49. Elin Alexandrov on February 23, 2021 at 11:15 pm

Are 2560X1080 21:9 monitors so terrible for you to not to recommend them? I’m buying a mixed use monitor for myself and my girlfriend as she is currently working from home. I am not an avid gamer, nor I have a powerful PC that can game at 1440p + resolution, but from past experience with an ancient samsung 4:3 75 hertz monitor I see the benefit of faster refresh rate. I’m looking to spend in the region of 200-250 Euros for an ultrawide monitor, but I can’t seem to find good deals on such.
