Hie Josh. Am trying to buy my wife a surprise gift. She is currently doing her Masters in Marketing online. I just came across this advert at Walmart and really need your advice.

    So… 800 bucks is budget?

  18. Mark_S on February 18, 2021 at 10:18 pm

Informative review, but IMO, perhaps too much so. I’ve just watched a few of your videos, and the information I’m looking for is in them, but it’s sandwiched between lots of explanations, "what this means" statements, etc. Before someone says so, yes – I know I can always start my own channel, and no – I don’t mean this to be offensive or insulting. It’s just my opinion. I think there are enough "learning about computer" sources out there, so making the videos more to the point, would result in them being half as long.

I can’t wait for more color accurate displays on these AMD laptops. The one’s that are close to 100% sRGB are out of my price range right now. Hoping for $500-$650 USD haha.

Will the Asus Vivo book s15 slim be on par with the Zenbook you recommend? I’m upgrading from my Lenovo idea pad 350 (it was high time!) But I’m a bit of a dweeb when it comes to this stuff! I use it to edit my photography but nothing at a professional level.

Finally, the YouTube algorithms recommend me something informative. I’ve been in the market of getting a new laptop this year (My 5 year old $300 laptop needs to retire), but I’m definitely trying not to spend no more than $1k! It’s definitely hard deciding what I want to get as there’s so many laptops out there with so many different specs. As an artist and a gamer I just want something that can properly run my programs, and these seem like great suggestions!

  46. Hrvoje Jelenić on February 18, 2021 at 10:58 pm
