Do you have any AirFryer recipes?
i like a combo of salt and sugar sprinkle and I like ketchup/cranberry sauce combo for dipping
Or you could just buy some frozen ones and use your air fryer…..
I had my doubts but they turned out great!
I like her voice.
cooking spray
Right at the end those ladies hinted that they are more than just friends😂😂😂😂
See you later, too!
Beautiful technique all the way around. Thank you!
I dont get it, i make fries and they turn out fine with anything…
The funny thing about French fries is they originally are from Belgium
We tried making these twice, and it didn’t work at all. Test kitchen ovens must get really hot near the bottom element. We have new KitchenAid electric ovens with convection and covered elements, which do not brown the Yukon Gold potato planks as shown in the video.
Also, although it looks easy, it’s actually not so easy to turn over each plank with tongs.
She looks so mean
How on earth DO YOU CLEAN these baking sheets to look silver again???
You guys are the best!
Can I get the information on the spatula that was used?
What can I use if I don’t have baking spray? Would better work?
What the hell does an Asian know about making an American steak fri.. you don’t have to do all the stupid bullshit just get regular russet potatoes chopped them up throw some salt pepper and olive oil on them and put them in the oven
great video except the taller woman was too nervous which creates the wrong vibe. be relaxed because it makes things fun and approachable.
Made these several times, Awesome, I sprinkle salt and pepper on them before adding to oven instead of after.
Thank you
Guess you don’t follow Adam Ragusea at all? Maybe look up his oven fry recipe..a bit simpler.
Not sure what went wrong. I have a convection oven. Watched the video 2-3 times to make sure I had the directions, temp and amounts correct. After the first 12-15 covered they had no browning on the bottom at all. The cornstarch was a gooey mess. I flipped them all anyways, and put back in uncovered. (Yes my oven is temping correctly) After 15 additional minutes the bottoms were just barely browned and the tops still had the appearance of raw, but they were starting to get tender. Not edible.
I like the way they lay out this show. I tried this recipe two nights is a row and it is awesome! The product is wonderful! Watch the pan for lots of heat but it’s better than a gallon of 375 F oil! Thanks
OMG..these fries were amazing!!!…i use russets and leave the peels on..cut em any ole way and they cook up awesome and delish every time!!…it is so easy to make the corn starch goop!…it works awesome!
I am currently without a microwave in my kitchen.
Stovetop OK for the cornstarch slurry?
This recipe lives up 100% to it’s expectations. I’ve swapped out the corn starch with potato starch, using the same ratio of water to starch as directed and ended up with a great flavor. Very reminiscent of a McDonald’s hash brown. Really awesome.
No one in my family would prefer to eat slabs. We like fries. What would be the result if you cut the slabs into 4ths?
🤓 Fantastic and Yum Great ideas Thanks for sharing
Thank you, worked like a charm

The sexual tension between them is unbearable
Awesome! Thank you!
Easier to just microwave the potato wedges, then pan fry them. Saves time for those who don’t want a tray full of potatoes
Hmmm, they didn’t do the Adam Ragusa microphone test, where you could hear the crunch when he bit into them.
Why not just fry them from a cold start in avocado oil like the French…way too many steps and gmo corn starch…
and crap ingredients….all wrong….
🤓 Fantastic and Yum Great ideas Thanks for sharing
Dats racist 😜
They are wedges, not chips!!!!
Boring and SO s l o w….
I’d love to see you guys work with this type of technique in an air fryer. These look great!
I love Lan!
Why not put the salt in the goo?
Can I skip the oil entirely and just use a baking sheet?
Could you make these with an airfryer? (Same process)
Would this be successful with russets?
Thank you. I do think this is waaaay too time consuming.
I LOVE LAN
Yes, it works. No, I don’t enjoy the coating of these fries. Encasing my potatoes isn’t my idea of natural or tasty.
Get an air fryer first of all. Best home appliance for homemade fries. Also, you don’t need corn starch, which makes the fries less healthy. Soaking the potatoes in water first for an hour will help them get way more crispy.
