just wanna ask. can Samsung galaxy tabs7/s7+ replace a laptop?. I’m a student and my course didn’t require a lot of editing, designing and making any art. or I actually really need to use a laptop?. what different between them?

What about a Razer blade stealth? They’re not bulky and they’re gaming laptops. Although still a little heavy

Don’t buy a thick gaming laptop if you plan to use it throughout the day. Most gaming laptops sound like jet engines, last about 2 hours even on battery saver mode, and don’t perform well unless plugged in because they’re underclocked to save battery. If you get a thin gaming ultrabook (e.g. razer blade 15) this will be much better as it will still last hours on end but be able to game. The downside to this is that thin gaming laptops are more expensive.

I would REALLY appreciate it if you put out an updated version of this guide. This one is awesome and super helpful but I’m just curious about if new laptops make your list or if your list has changed!

I think the reason the Acer Aspire 5 is so cheap in the US is because it’s double the price over here in the UK. In fact everything is more expensive by a big amount. XPS 13 is about £900 for eg. I’m guessing its home learning price scalping which is definately going to influence my buying in the future. I won’t buy from a company for life that wants to fleece me in hard times.

  28. Sharad Daima on January 26, 2021 at 8:47 pm

I have the Legion one and it’s great. Been using it for quite a long while. Has decent battery life. Needs to be charged since it wont last the whole time. But it’s still great. If you wanna do casual gaming and work and notes and stuff then this is a great laptop to go for.

I use a gaming laptop for uni. I’m a 4th year aero engineering student at Imperial College. I NEED the power/performance for SOLIDWORKS, Siemens NX, etc. A gaming laptop can work for students but only for those who NEED crap tons of performance
