A bit late on watching this – but – I just purchased a Dell XPS 13 9305 – and – I love it! I am not a gamer and have recently retired – so – this ultra book really seems to fit the bill for me. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the ultimate in portability, a clear and crisp display, and acceptable speed. Thanks Tom for what you do on this Blog!

I’m watching this video on the first ASUS machine I ever tried. An ROG Strix 2 from 2019… And I can’t wait to replace it.
Aside keyboard keys that random stop functioning and graphics settings that keep resetting anytime you connect to a different HDMI output, it’s the noise. Oh that horrific, suicide-inducing fan noise. Oh did I say fan? I mean fans!
I’ve tried everything, short of tossing the damn thing out the window (which I’ll happily do once I replace it with almost anything else I can find on the Queen’s internet). Finally found a way to get the CPU fan to quiet down by reducing the processing power, only for the GPU fan to refuse to sthu
The GPU is currently disabled. But the fan is still blaring. Blaring like a faulty jet engine. Gosh I hate this laptop. Yes, I’m DEFINITELY upgrading my laptop this year. And it’s definitely not going to be an ASUS, no matter how many funky screens they add to them.
