The GE Café line is awesome. I was very interested in the netatmo weather station but the HomeKit integration is bland.
Product placement aside, the fact that you blacked out trigger *Alexa* commands is a courtesy many don’t think of. Thanks for that.
Time save being lazy is offset by time required to read instructions and deal with wifi outages.
Great video! Would love to see something on the Flo by Moen, and water sensors. Especially for Vacation rentals, I think something like this is essential.
II wouldnt even think about using IFTTT or a web-based voice assistant. What if my internet connection goes down? What if the server dies? What if they go out of business? not to mention all the security and privacy issues. No, local processing is the way to go. If it can’t happen locally it ain’t gonna happen. Period.
