So what about the hisense h8g. It was 499 on Amazon, but the real prices was 600.

  2. Robert Holloway on December 2, 2020 at 7:55 pm

Hey FOMO, the 55" Hisense H9G is no longer available on Amazon’s web site and they don’t know when they will get any more units. I was able to order it from Best Buy’s web site this morning and it will be delivered to my home in 2 days.

What calibrations did you do to yours?

  3. r3load on December 2, 2020 at 7:57 pm

Ok, now that you’ve basically covered everything there is to cover about HDMI 2.1, it would be very interesting to talk about input lag with HDMI 2.1. How does that really work? Is the input lag reduced only when playing a 120fps game? Or does the extra speed of HDMI 2.1 naturally reduce input lag? Sony advertises that their new Software Update for the X900H will introduce lower input lag of 7.2ms via HDMI 2.1. Is this true? What is your take on this? Great content as usual!!!

  4. andre koorehzard on December 2, 2020 at 7:57 pm

The 55 inch Sony x900h is 650 on shopmyexchange for anyone that is military!

  6. demolitionman on December 2, 2020 at 8:00 pm

Do you have a video on how to calibrate a tv? I plan to buy the Samsung ru9000

  7. Skuggan on December 2, 2020 at 8:04 pm

Here in sweden they just bumped up the prices on almost everything in the elektronic market but the wors bump ive come across are Samsung´s QLED QE75Q80T it went from 1922,30 US dollar to amazing 2884,41 US Dollar I gotta say when people think they are getting a good deal here in sweden on blackfriday they are getting scammed.

  8. Dyendil on December 2, 2020 at 8:09 pm

I like that video but makes you reliable? What makes what you say true?

  9. Boston quad on December 2, 2020 at 8:09 pm

    What about projectors😜

  10. Eric DiDomenico on December 2, 2020 at 8:09 pm

I was about to ask if blooming could be corrected via firmware but when you mentioned that the latest Hisense H9G firmware added more blooming, it made me happy to know blooming can be corrected via firmware update. Thank you.

Also just pulled the trigger on the 65” TCL R635. Hoping all is well.

  11. Juan Jose Rivera on December 2, 2020 at 8:09 pm

Hello thank you for your videos. Whats your opinion on the H9G vs The LG BX on HDR movie watching in a dark room I’m planning to buy a BX for movie watching but maybe the H9G will suffice what dou you think I heard the BX doesn’t et bright enough for HDR. Thank you for your answer.

  12. RG on December 2, 2020 at 8:09 pm

The Visio OLED is also a gaming contender

  13. Steven Tsimtsos on December 2, 2020 at 8:10 pm

Hey FOMO, just saw your post about the Sony A8H for 1789 on Amazon. Would u grab that or the Hisense h9g for 1000. ? At 65 inches . Thank you an appreciate your reviews!!!

  14. Won R on December 2, 2020 at 8:10 pm

I noticed that Best Buy listed a "New!" Hisense model H6510G. What is the difference between Hisense H6510G vs H9G ?

  15. HaaaNoooooo on December 2, 2020 at 8:11 pm

This is a great video for infomoation.

  16. Aziz Bouhejba on December 2, 2020 at 8:11 pm

First one I see making this good of a point about gaming, this might change my mind now thank you very much! a proper gaming tv might wait to be tested first.. but if the x900h is the price as the h9g for example why should not take the bet?

  17. K on December 2, 2020 at 8:12 pm

FOMO, do you think the 75 inch Q80T will eventually dip to $2,000 or lower?

  21. HotSizzleTV on December 2, 2020 at 8:16 pm

What about any 1440p monitors any good deals for prime day ? Also your 4K lg at the top in your list. Links us to Sony 4K tv not the lg. But thank you for this video.

  22. Tess on December 2, 2020 at 8:17 pm

Assuming that the H9G has had more than one update, how can one identify the update you want to avoid? For example, Is there a date or a number for this update?

What is the Canadian model of the H9G? Is it the Q9G? Will it have the same firmware update?

  23. Craig Jacks on December 2, 2020 at 8:18 pm

How would you compare the 2020 TCL 6-series vs. the 2019 TCL 8-series?

  24. Charles Engelberg on December 2, 2020 at 8:18 pm

Can’t find the Hisense 65H9G anywhere. Bestbuy is out, Brandsmart is out. Nothing on Ebay.

  25. Squattingturtle on December 2, 2020 at 8:21 pm

Im supirsed he recommended an OLED for gaming. If you you play a shit ton isn;t it likely you will get burn in?

  26. coyoteproject on December 2, 2020 at 8:21 pm

Would you please do a video about LG using Advanced Dimension Switching panels in most of their 2020 lcd tvs. The new LG lcd tv look terrible. And nobody is talking about lg using BOEs ips knockoff ads panels instead of LGs ips panels.

  27. Fernando S. on December 2, 2020 at 8:25 pm

Love your channel. I am a newbie. When you say the Hisense is best after you calibrate it, what does that mean? What does it take to properly calibrate it? I stream all my tv and use a buzz box and a 4K firestick. I am always looking for the best quality of streaming

  28. flash spree on December 2, 2020 at 8:25 pm

The new TLC mini led 120hz 480 m.s

  31. jack whin-yates on December 2, 2020 at 8:28 pm

OK. I need help. I’ve run into some serious analysis paralysis and I’m hoping you can help clear me up. I’m looking for a new 65inch 4K TV. I’m upgrading from an old school 42inch Samsun LCD. I watch Netflix and Prime and some local TV with a huge chunk of time spent gaming. I’m not really a "competitive" gamer and enjoy the more long-form & long session immersive style of gaming. Think Skyrim, Assassins Creed, Witcher, Fallout, and soon Cyberpunk 2077. I enjoy some First Person Shooters but I’m not doing tournaments or anything like that. I’d like to spend under $1500.00 Canadian and I’m stuck between the TCL 6series, LG Nano90, but have been looking at the Hisense H9G and the Sony 900H and then i started looking at the Q80T but it’s a little over budget. HELP ME. what would be the best one for me?

  32. Pat Burgard on December 2, 2020 at 8:28 pm

You mention calibration does it have to calibration after you buy it?

  33. Ali on December 2, 2020 at 8:29 pm

Hey can you recommend a good gaming monitor that can at least do 4K60fps and do 1080p120fps for the PS5?

  34. 잠다람 on December 2, 2020 at 8:29 pm

  39. Wrist Deep68 on December 2, 2020 at 8:34 pm

I own the JS9500 Samsung. $5k bought in 2015 from my electronics dealer in NE. A few months later, i noticed Amazon selling my TV for $3k. Myself and my dealer started looking into it and turns out they were switching out the One Connect boxes with boxes that had the cheaper chipset in it, BUT ADVERTISING IT AS A BRAND NEW JS9500 NO CHANGES. ive also bought a few GPS units from Amazon that didint work right. NEVER buy anything expensive from Amazon they are a bunch of assholes who sell crap

  40. flim flam on December 2, 2020 at 8:35 pm

Sony A8h OLED 65′ for 1800 and 55′ for 1300 are the real shining deals of prime day imo. especially if you got the 10% cash back.

  41. Fred Rapoport on December 2, 2020 at 8:36 pm

Love your channel! Been wanting to get the H9G but Best Buy has been sold out for awhile. I know you love the H9G too. The Sony X900 65inch is about the same price at Best Buy now at $969. (HDMI 2.1 not important to me but the ATSC 3.0 could be) That being said, would you recommend buying the Sony or waiting for 65 inch H9G? I’m a little concerned with longevity quality with the Hisense, thank you!

  42. Money Sports Cards on December 2, 2020 at 8:36 pm

FOMO help me! For 75 inch TV mostly used for movie and sports watching. Don’t care too much about gaming. Which is the best value?
    75 inch Sony 900H – $1600 Prime Day 36% off
    75 inch TCL R635 – $1400 retail price

  43. Alexander Carbonell on December 2, 2020 at 8:39 pm

Thank you for finally mentioning the 75RU9000 I’m getting mine calibrated this upcoming Friday and I can’t wait. I have had this TV for 4 weeks & wondered why nobody’s talking about it the picture quality is great it’s processor is lightning fast and it’s overall quality is very solid . Is there anyway that you can do a deep dive review specifically on the RU 9000 after calibration So that people can see what a great buy this is.

  44. JaeNice13 on December 2, 2020 at 8:44 pm

What PC monitors do you recommend for the new consoles? Have you made a video on that?

  45. Feng-Chi Shi on December 2, 2020 at 8:44 pm

What’s your thought TCL 65 R635 vs 65X900H without calibration? Since the calibration is at least 250 extra.
    Thanks

  46. Steve on December 2, 2020 at 8:45 pm

Sony A8H for best picture quality 👌

I find it hilarious that people think they’re gonna be gaming at 4k@120 fps on call of duty on a ps5. Guys wake up!!!
The nvidia 3080 gpu cant even do that on max settings paired with an Intel i9 10900k processor.

  47. Sylvain Dubé on December 2, 2020 at 8:45 pm

I was about to buy a 55 inch 900H for the ps5 but you scared me. I will take a look a the gaming monitor. Do you have a top 5 for the ps5 ??

  48. gears728 on December 2, 2020 at 8:46 pm

Is the lg nano99 a good purchase for series x ? I am so conflicted between that x900h, q90t and lg Cx but burn in

  49. nissan 300zxtt on December 2, 2020 at 8:48 pm

Maybe this is a daft question but are philips tvs really bad ? I cant find alot of reviews for them.
I was looking at hisense u8qf which is alternative to (h9g) .
But seen philips 70PUS9005 for a bit cheaper. I dont really need 120hz at 1440p but would be nice. Was just looking for peoples opinions on philips tv’s ?
    Any advice folks…
